The Carnival targeted Amex Offer expires at end of day. Frequent Miler's Last Chance Deals (June 14 edition) still lists Carnival bolded under "Expires Tuesday, June 16" — no fill warning has appeared. 1 The FM article covering this offer was last updated June 8 when the offer was extended to today and more cardholders were targeted. 2
Enrollment must happen before qualifying purchase. Nick Reyes at Frequent Miler notes: "I've used these offers before and always found any type of pre-payment to work, whether the initial cruise booking or a later deposit." 2 On-board purchases do not count.

Frequent Miler published this offer June 15 at 8:45 p.m. ET — the first new Amex Offer to surface in over 12 days. 3 It's targeted, so check your account before banking on it.
The offer is narrower than it first appears: valid only at **priceline.com/amexoffer** on prepaid hotel bookings using the "pay now" option at checkout. "Pay at property" stays, vacation packages, car rentals, flights, and cruises are all excluded. Nick Reyes recommends booking a prepaid-but-cancellable rate as a hedge: "I would probably recommend using this on a prepaid but flexible booking that you can cancel if it doesn't trigger the offer." 3
At exactly $150, the math is a clean 20%. Below $150 the offer doesn't trigger; above it you get a flat $30, so the effective return shrinks on higher bookings.
Portal stacking tip: Reyes also noted Capital One Shopping sometimes offers Priceline cashback that could stack — check your targeted email offers before booking. The Priceline terms require a specific URL (

Payment caution — still unresolved: The official Amex Terms & Conditions page confirms the offer language — cardholders "spend a minimum of $100 in one or more qualifying purchases of concessions and/or merchandise with on-site merchants." 6 However, the USGA's official 2026 Fan Information Guide makes no mention of accepted payment methods at concessions. 7 As of Practice Day 2 (today), no cardholder reports from Shinnecock Hills have appeared on Twitter, Instagram, or Reddit confirming whether Amex is accepted at the course. An earlier Instagram warning claiming "no Amex" at the venue has not been verified or contradicted. If attending, verify on-site payment options before counting on this offer.
NUCLR GOLF (286K followers) posted concession prices on June 15: $12.95 beer, $19 footlong hot dogs, $6.45 bottled water — 92 replies focused entirely on price complaints, zero discussion of payment methods. 8 The Amex Offer requires a $100 minimum, which across a group is achievable in a round or two.

⚡ Card benefit reminders
Saks $50 credit — 14 days left (final cycle, ends June 30)
The January–June 2026 Saks Fifth Avenue semi-annual credit closes June 30. After that date the benefit restructures — the current $50 bi-annual cycle ends, replaced by a single $100 annual credit starting July 1. If you haven't spent your current $50, you have 14 days.
Centurion Lounge guest policy — tightens July 8
Starting July 8, guests must be traveling on the same flight as the cardholder, and layovers are capped at 5 hours. Verify updated rules in the Amex app before trips with companions.
Resy credit restriction — effective August 1
Starting August 1, US restaurants must carry an "eligible" badge in the Resy app for Platinum Resy credits (up to $400/year) to trigger. Amex has confirmed no existing eligible restaurants are being removed — the change adds a formal badge system rather than removing venues. Ben Schlappig at OMAAT: "As of August 1, 2026, Amex is adding some new terms to the Resy credits on premium cards. However, it's not actually bad news." 10 More eligible venues are expected to be added later in 2026.
What to do today
- Carnival — expires tonight. Open the Amex app, find Carnival, tap Add to Card, and book or deposit by midnight. Any cruise booking deposit counts; on-board purchases don't. 2
- Check for Priceline in your account. If it's there, note the specific URL (priceline.com/amexoffer) and book a prepaid-but-cancellable hotel rate if you want to test the trigger safely. 3
- Sonesta — 4 days. $60 back on a $300+ direct booking. Expires Saturday June 20. 4
- U.S. Open attendees. Tournament opens June 18. The KC93:0001 offer is still enrollable, but Amex acceptance at on-site concessions has not been confirmed by any cardholder report. Add the offer to your card now, verify payment methods when you arrive. 5
